The boardwalk from Lake Ranch to the beach passes by the General Store, the Pump House Museum, and some great views. Start your day with a sunrise on Lake Mac and wrap up the day with a sunset on Lake Michigan.
Accommodations
Lake Ranch Resort has often been described as a mix between a B&B and a hotel, renting family-owned condos with all the amenities of a boutique resort. We will greet you in person in the clubhouse and are available for whatever you need during your stay.
Heated Salt Chlorinated Pool
Our Heated Saltwater Pool is known for its windows. Guests frequently compliment us on how clean and comfortably warm we keep the pool. Open Memorial Day Weekend through mid-September (and sometimes longer, weather depending).
Waterfront Dining
Lake Ranch has the perfect waterfront location for sharing time with family and friends old and new. There are 6 gas grills and plenty of picnic tables and space for the perfect get-together. Prefer to eat out? There are several restaurants within a mile of us and downtown Holland is just a 10-minute drive.
Unique Condos in a friendly intimate setting
Lake Ranch is a small resort with 35 individually owned condominium units. The feel is friendly and intimate featuring many activities the whole family can enjoy. Each unit is unique… you will find different decors, furnishings and room amenities.

My husband and I decided to do a last minute weekend trip to the West side of Michigan with our one year old daughter when I stumbled across this sweet little resort. Walking distance to Holland State Beach and right on the water of Lake Macatawa. We had a wonderful weekend here and would definitely come back! Great place to stay for the price and the owners are extremely friendly!!

Really lovely place to stay. Much nicer than the photos. Walking distance to beach, food, hiking. Pool was great, lawn games, units are well outfitted.

We ended up staying at the Lake Ranch Resort because we couldn't find any other place with a room available, but we're happy we did! The rooms are simple, but they had everything we needed and were very clean. It was nice to have an outdoor entrance to the room, especially during COVID. The coffee maker with mugs was a nice addition and we were able to have coffee on the dock looking out on the lake. The check-in process was easy, and the woman working the front desk was very helpful with dinner recommendations. There were one or two in walking distance, but we drove to the rest within 10 minutes.

The cutest place ever! CLEAN!! CLEAN!! The rooms, bathrooms, pool, office, deck area, gazebo area, all so clean and beautiful!! The owners are soo nice and so accommodating!! Can’t wait to go back! Also close to beach and cute little store

Family friendly waterfront resort within walking distance of Big Red lighthouse on Lake Michigan and Holland State Park Beach! The gazebo overlooking Lake Macatawa is complete with gas grills and picnic tables for dining at the waterside. The grounds are immaculate with with overflowing flower pots and boxes. The Saltwater pool is always clean and refreshing. The owners go out of their way to make your stay fabulous! two doors down is The General Store. This is the place for everything, including morning donuts and coffee to the hand-dipped ice cream! You will make many family memories here!❤️

Had a wonderful time at Lake Ranch Resort. Traveled with spouse and two sons (ages 11 and 15) and we all had a blast! The room was comfortable, grilling out by the water was a beautiful experience, and the pool was nice and warm. Will definitely be back!
